Julian Wing - British Council ‘Cardiff Online’ Project Manager - I’m based in London and work on the British Council LearnEnglish Professionals website.
I've worked for the British Council in Colombia and Brazil. This is the third IATEFL Online conference I've been involved in. I worked with members of this team to bring you Exeter Online last year and Aberdeen Online in 2007.

I'm Martin and I'm Based in Manchester working for the British Council. I am a web developer for the British Council LearnEnglish and PremierSkills websites. I've worked for the IATEFL Online project for the past 2 years, and this year our aim to bring you a better online conferece filled with social networking tools so you can share your experience at Cardiff with your colleagues who are not able to attend the conference this year.

I'm Gavin and I'm Honorary Secretary of IATEFL. I've also been Coordinator of the Learning Technologies SIG and the newsletter editor too. I've been volunteering for IATEFL for quite a few years now and enjoy the chance to meet people from around the world and work with people who share the same passions. I'm looking forward to another successful online conference and hope to meet you all there.

I'm Neil and I'm based in Hong Kong working for the British Council. I've been developing and managing some of the British Council's online teacher training courses and have also been working on various Council websites.
Half of my family live in Cardiff so I'm looking forward to being backin the city.

Hello I am Sheraz from British Council London office. I have been working as Web Manager in our London office for the past 3 years and have had opportunity to work overseas for exciting two years. I have been part of the IATEFL team that has been bringing the conference to you online. I look forward for yet another exciting, innovative and challenging IATEFL Cardiff 2009 and cant wait to meet all of you joining us physically and online.

I work for the British Council Brazil in the Rio de Janeiro Office as web developer. The team that I work with build online systems for the council and I have been working with video streaming for over 9 years now. I had the opportunity to work with the Exeter Online team last year, doing the webcasts, filming, and I am really looking forward to working in Cardiff this year.

Rob's worked as an English teacher, trainer and writer for over ten years, on peacekeeping English projects in Ukraine, Albania and Bosnia-Herzegovina, then in British Council teaching centres in Mexico, Slovakia and Italy. He currently lives in Lisbon and manages the TeachingEnglish website.

Nik Peachey is a freelance ELT and technology writer, consultant and teacher trainer based in Morocco. He has been involved in ELT since 1992 and has worked all over the world for organisations like the British Council and International House. He also works on three of the IATEFL SIG committees and writes and publishes 3 technology focused blog websites. The main one of these is Nik's learning technology blog.

Devo's worked as an English teacher and writer for many years. He currently lives in Lisbon and manages the LearnEnglish Central website. This is his frist year working on an IATEFL Online project. Devo will be giving his presentation on Evaluating the success of an elementary podcast project.
